Rettore of UWC Adriatic

After graduating from the University of Exeter in French and Italian, which included a year studying at the Università degli Studi di Pisa, Will began his teaching career at Sherborne School, Dorset, teaching languages and the IB. Following that, he moved to Harrow School in 2011 where he held positions as an Assistant House Master, Head of Universities, Head of Modern Languages and Head of Italian. In 2016, he moved to St John's School, Leatherhead, Surrey as Deputy Head (Academic).  He joined UWC Adriatic as its Rettore in August 2019.

Throughout his career he has been involved in coaching sports, directing plays and occasionally performed in musical concerts. He has also been a school inspector and a governor of a junior school. Will has a wide range of interests, including global politics, history, travel, cooking, music, theatre, sport and the environment.

"To me, a UWC education develops students' beliefs in common humanity and a commitment to make the world a better place.  In a time where division and discord remain prevalent in so many societies, such an education is as important as ever before.”
