Tessa Ware

Anthropology and History Teacher, Waterford Kamhlaba UWC of Southern Africa

Tessa has a BA Honours Degree in Social Anthropology from Wits University. She has worked at the Regents International School in Thailand and has taught History in Nelspruit, South Africa. Tessa was also the recipient of the Mandela / Rhodes Scholarship in 2016. In addition, she is an accomplished musician.

 

“One thing I consistently try to remind myself of in life is that everybody knows something that I do not. With a diverse environment comes a variety of knowledge systems and thought processes. I think that one of my favourite things about joining UWC has been encountering this diversity of views and allowing myself to learn.”
